Market introduction:

Honda reintroduced the City to meet BS6 emission norms in December 2019 while the e:HEV was launched on 4 May 2022.

Variants:

It is available in nine variants – V MT, V CVT, VX MT, VX CVT, V MT Diesel, VX MT Diesel, ZX MT, ZX MT Diesel, and ZX CVT.

Engine and transmission:

The City gets a 1,497cc i-VTEC petrol engine and 1,498cc diesel engine. It is available in both Manual and Automatic transmission options. 

Exterior:

The BS6 City has a design similar to the previous model. The car gets quad halogen headlamps along with LED daytime running lights. Besides, it features diamond-cut 15-inch alloy wheels, rain sensing wipers, and a chrome grille.

Interior:

Inside, the Japanese carmaker now offers a new 6.9-inch DIGIPAD touchscreen infotainment system with navigation. The top-end model gets an eight-speaker audio system whereas the other one has a four-speaker unit. The infotainment system can connect to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Safety and features:

Honda provides lots of features in the City such as an electric sunroof, multi-view rear camera, steering mounted media and cruise control switches, Smart key with keyless remote, etc.

Seating capacity:

Honda city has a seating capacity for five occupants.

Colours:

The car is offered in five paint choices – Radiant Red Metallic, Lunar Silver Metallic, Golden Brown Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, and Meteoroid Grey Metallic. 

Rivals:

The City rivals the Hyundai Verna, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Skoda Slavia, Toyota Yaris, and Volkswagen Virtus.
